    Bio

I am a lifelong New Orleanian and proud of it..

I began my love for radio as a young boy. I remember listening to it all. Talk, sports and music on a small AM transistor radio which I seemed to take everywhere. I loved it all... I was hooked. I wanted be in radio. The fulfillment of my dream began with an internship in 1982 at WNOE working in the news department and tried to pick up a few things while working with The Mary Foster Sports Show.

One of my most memorable moments was when I interviewed the late Mayor “Dutch" Morial.

The NFL strike of 1982 left me without my newfound internship. Needing a “REAL PAYCHECK," I took on several non-radio affiliated jobs but never lost my love for radio.

In 2002 on a dare, I decided to get back into radio. I kept telling everyone, "Hey, I can do sports talk better than those other guys!" With the support of one of my lifelong friends, I contacted AM 1450 (WBYU) to inquire about a weekend show.

Jon Fine host of WBYU’s midday sports show “Sports Gumbo” got wind that "greatness" had entered the building and in October 2002 offered us a shot at co-hosting Sports Gumbo which I was a part of for about a year.

In August of 2003 SportsWrap hit the airwaves as a nighttime sports show on AM 690 (WTIX) It was my 1st chance to create, host, produce & market a local sports show.

After less than a year, the three hour nightly show turned into a two hour midday gig.

Then the proverbial hurricane happened... Katrina.

On December of 2005 "Inside New Orleans" a midday news/talk show debuted on the all new AM 690 (WIST). It was my first opportunity to host and produce a show in a news/talk format.

When you tune in I promise to be the most prepared and knowledgeable host in the market. Unafraid to call it like I see it, speaking the truth, while keeping my listeners informed and entertained on the latest New Orleans news, politics, sports and culture.

FROM THE DOGCATCHER TO THE GOVERNOR THEY ALL HAVE TO GO!
